Analysis of Transmission Fluid

Do I understand correctly that a particular vacuum pump must necessarily be purchased for collecting the transmission fluid sampling? Thanks, Larry

There are several companies offering lab testing of oil samples and I donít think they require any specific device to collect the sample. I have a pump I bought from JG that makes it simple to catch the fluids, but the purchase was not required.

Ditto I have same pump and also purchased the blue pump for coolant.
Makes it easy to draw a sample.
