Capacity?

I could only get about 6 or 7 gals out of my HD 4060?

Pulled both filters and I disconnected the hoses and ran the engine until nothing came out.

I thought I read in a previous post that this thing held 48 qts?

I'm heading to buy the Transynd at the local Allison dealer $30/gal. or $145/5gal

I would not run the engine with no fluid in the trans under any circumstances.
There're a lot of twirly things in there needing lubrication.

Are you serious? You ran the engine while draining the transmission dry.
Call Allison asap and make sure you didn't cause any damage
