My wife and I purchased a 1996 Rexhall Rolls Air MH this spring. This past weekend we had to travel through 4 miles of mud, sand, and gravel (all wet!). On our 100 mile trip back home the transmission was shifting very poorly but gearing up and down. I have a c8.3 and a 3060 Allison 6 speed. When we got home I checked the codes on the Allison. D1 21 12 which means THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR LOW. I washed the under carriage and took it for another short drive it shifted flawlessly.

Can anyone tell me where the TPS is located on my rig. Is it actuated by cable since I do not have elctronic throttls?

Look under the bed to access engine compartment,it should be attached to the throttle linkage. It will be a black cable possibly with a slide that hooks to the linkage, sometime the cotter key will wear and the slide falls off.If you have trouble locating the cable, look for a black rectangular tps with 3 wires plugged in.Just follow the cable out of it to the linkage.

Did as you said and yes i have slotted rod that leads to a rectangular block with three wires. All seems good. I will take motorhome for a 200 mile run this week end and see how it performs. Thanks again for your help, I now know where to look if it acts up
