My service manual states that if using hi cap filters Transmission fluid needs changed at 300,000 miles and filters at 75,000?

If that is an Allison manual, it also states change at 36 months for the high cap filters and 48 months for the Transynd. Fluid analysis can be used to extend the fluid change. It's a which ever comes first. If you just use the 300k mileage you do so at your own risk.

That sounds right. Just finished changing the fluid. Refill took 19 quarts because I have the long filters on my 3000 MH. Sure feels good to have done it. The old stuff is very dark red. Thanks for the assistance everybody.

had Pacific power products in Spokane WA service my model 1000 with TranSynd stf
very easy and clean. no disposal problem and worth the $467.34
