Yesterday my "Stop" light and Buzzer came on while traveling and towing a '98 Jeep Wrangler 4 down. The first time I had the cruise control on @ about 60 mph. I immediately touched the brake to slow down and the Buzzer and Light went off so I kept going. All other instrument functions were in "Normal Operating" modes. The second time I was cruising along without the cruise control at about 60 mph and it came on again, and again I backed off the accelerator and the Light & Buzzer went off. I went to my Allison manual and the index states "see p. 1-12" under "Display Panel Symbols". Well, pgs.
1-11 and 1-12 are missing (I'm the 2nd owner). Can anyone tell me what this "Stop" Light and Buzzer is supposed to be telling me?

I have a Allison MD 3060, 6 speed Transmission in a 38' Newmar Dutch Star. Engine: Cummins ISC 330 HP, 6 cyl., 505 CI (8.3L).

Hi Rnicfingrp,
The stop engine light has to do with your engine, not the transmission. Based on the info in your OP, this may be something as simple as low coolant level. Can you check the coolant level. Do not use the sight glass. Get something you can stick into the tank to see the real coolant level.

Gary,
Sorry I've been a little slow getting back to your thread. I've checked the coolant "tank" in the engine compartment and it looks fine. Where is the sight glass you described?
