MD3060 oil change chart

Hi, just bought an 1995 Destiny 8.3 Cummins with the MD3060 Allison tranny, coach have 83K miles on it and i don't have the previous owner records, chart recommand an oil and filter change every 25K or 18 months wichever occurs first. Of course i will do an oil and filter change for start but after that do you guys respecthing that chart ? 18 months seems very often to me as i probably doing 15K miles a year at least for a start.

Change it using Transynd fluid and you can go 4-5 years without a problem.
For filters you need to know if yours has the 2 or 4" pan.

On the Allison Transmission website, Allison Transmission Home under the parts and service selection there is a neat fluid and filter calculator. It's kind of handy for determining the most current recommendation for fluid and filter changes.
