Return spring on 545 tranny

Just transplanted a 6BT attached to Allison 545 out of a Bluebird bus into '77 Champion MH. In the process the return spring to the cable running from the gearbox to the throttle control got misplaced. Hoping it's a pretty standard item, would anybody be of some help for a replacement? Been surfing around here for quite some time. Just decided it's time to join to enjoy all the fun.

Excellent choice of engines. Waiting to see some pics and stuff of the process. If you really need it, I can measure the spring on my 545 in the morning.

That would be great. Would also need to know approximately how strong of a spring. What ever information I can get right now will be great help.
Reason for the transplant was the price of gas(at the time) was out of the world. Also I have a '89 Dodge pickup with 650,000 miles on it witch can get 17 MPG while towing a 30' camper. Figured couldn't go wrong with a Cummins.Honestly it was a LOT of work. Have a great day.

Mine is missing the return spring that works along side the throttle return spring. Have no idea how much tension is needed.
