After releasing brakes, going to drive position sounds reverse alarm.
Going to neutral will turn off the alarm.
The alarm may continue for just a second or last as long as 5 minutes.
Will eventually go silent.
What would cause this quirk?

I think the back up alarm is triggered by a pressure switch on the tranny. Possible that the switch is becoming defective and is triggered by a lower pressure. Will it work in reverse and come on in drive also?
