The transmission is definitely a 1000MH model, only the W24 received the larger transmission. The 6 speed was not available until the 2006 chassis year.
In general the chassis is often one year older than the coach, so your 2004 George Boy is probably on a 2003 WH chassis. One way to tell how many gears your chassis has is to count the number of times you feel a shift event when accelerating.
Instructions: On a straight country road, come to a stop. The smoothly accelerate to 55 mph. You can use either the seat of your pants to detect the shift points or watch the tachometer. If you don't feel the shift points try again with a little more aggressive acceleration. The 1000MH transmission shifts in the following order: start in 1st gear, 2nd, torque converter lockup, 3rd, 4th, 5th. So from a stop to 55 mph you should see 5 shift events, if you see 6 then you have the 6 speed.
