My 02 K3500 dually pulls 14,700# smoothly. The only time I can feel any similar thing is when I slip the tires pulling away from a stop. Usually dirt or sand on the pavement causes my tire slip.

Anything there?
I was just thinking this..

here's something on it: http://www.thedieselstop.com/forums/...shudder-39685/

Thank you for this! I feel a bit better knowing that others have experienced it for years. I guess as long as I just ease it off the line it'll be OK. It's not like I'm going to win any drag races at the green light anyway

Thanks to all for all the input. I love this place already!

My 2006 3500 srw GMC 4X4 has done it since day 1 while pulling a load, I have 195000 miles on it and have replaced u joints twice. Not sure what causes it but it doesn't seem to be hurting anything.

Do some measuring of the angle of the drive shaft when unloaded--hook-up and remeasure. If the drive shaft angle changes very much you will get some vibration as you move from a stop. Recently had to put air bags on a 1 ton dually to correct this problem.

Yeah, I was thinking about putting on a set of airbags too. My truck only sags a little, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Thanks!
