Hey guys, i have a 2006 ford f 250 6.0 cc 4by4, this is the truck i use to pull my 35ft fifth wheel toy hauler. This weekend i looked at a 2009 chevy 3500HD cc 4by4 long bed dually with the 6.6 turbo diesel. only 29k miles, looks really nice. Is there any problems with this year chevy? anything i shoudl look for? I did not get to test drive it, the dealership was closed.

I'm on my second Duramax, first was an 04 3500 4x4 dually, bought new, sold with 90k miles, minor mods, never any issues. Now have a 08 2500 HD 4x4, same mods, 25k on the odometer plus 20k as a toad....pull a 36' Eliminator offshore cat.... same great truck!

the dealer that is selling this 2009 3500 dually wanted 47k for this used truck. i checked NADA blue book retail value is only 37k, what the hell? i could go buy a new 2011 for 52k. I think i am done looking for a truck here in Lubbock, Texas, all the dealers try to screw me, i have seen some online in the dallas, fort worth area for much cheaper.

Did you ask why they wanted so much above blue book? I'd love to hear that explanation, given today's economy. Shoot, with the GM worker discount I can buy a 2011 for that price.
