Gale Banks take on modern diesels

pickuptrucks.com has an interesting post where Gale Banks gives his views on light duty diesels. It's sure to spark controversy but it's hard can deny this man's credentials.

I love the tractor engine in my Dually. The D-Max is one smooth puppy though. My '06 Dodge pulls like crazy, if I need more power I'll get a larger truck. Gotta control and stop that load ya know.

Hi UNIT, if you like roaring diesels, and happen to be near Terre Haute, IN the last weekend of August, make plans to attend the annual Scheid Diesel - Service Co., Inc. Diesel extravenza
P.S. Bring ear plugs. The Scheid Diesel pulling truck has a B5.9 Cummins with over 1,200 HP and 1,800 lb/ft torque. That said, Duramax engines seem to take 3-4 of the top 5 positions.

Sounds like my kind of place. I actually like old tractor engines and diesel pulls. Terra Haute isn't that far either.
