If anyone knows of a oem intake out there let me know please.

Someone over oiled it if you have to do that. I had one on a truck that logged 30,000 miles and not once had an issue.

I'm pretty sure I have the OEM intake setup off my 2001 Chevy 3500 DRW
Years ago I installed K&N on my truck that was sold with the K&N setup
I agree with what has been said on the newer trucks Stay with the Donaldson
filter

Hold a K&N up to a light...see all of those little pin holes of light...so does dust/dirt. Factory filter is what the engine was designed for and what works best IMO. Cleaning and PROPERLY oiling a K&N is a PITA compared to a drop in paper air filter. I was a service adviser at a GMC dealership for 14 years, replaced numerous MAF sensors in K&N equipped trucks over the years after they were fouled with the filter oil. The sensors aren't cheap, at $250 +/-.

After having our 2002 Duramax go to limited power due to "restricted a/f" on the worst possible California mountain road, installed exact replacement K&N a/f and haven't had a problem since! 2002 Sierra 2500HD w/250,000 miles and still going strong!

After reading about so many other problems on this forum from people ask'n for help, it doesn't surprise me one bit about people over oiling a K&N filter......by going to a 4" exhaust from the turbo back and using a K&N, my pulling mileage is 14.4 at 65 mph......and I have gauges as well to monitor EGT"s, Trans temp, and Boost....empty am getting 21.6 at 70 mph.....with 200,000 on it

Hey Bob, I see that you own a Rockwood Signature Ultralight, we are getting our 2014 8265WS next Saturday and have a question about the TPO roof. It seems near the edge of the roof before it goes around the sides, there is a strip along the edge that is not adhered to the roof structure, probably an inch wide or less. Should we worry about it?? Is it from the structure flexing, or what??

This one has gutters too, seems loose just over the edge on the top, no more than an inch strip along the edge??
Don't know if the picture thing worked!
