What is a LGH? I have had two Duramax's. 09 and 13. Pull 13,000 lb fifth wheel. Get 10 mpg pulling. The 3/4 ton got 17.5 to 19 not pulling and about the same with 3500.

the LGH is a detuned version of the LML like found in chassie cab and box type vehicles, it is detuned, revised turbo charger, larger EGR, and higher capacity SCR

6.6 is correct. The chevy dealer called and say's I hear your looking for a Duramax. I say yep. Drive down see this 2011 bitch'n black beast. Traded in a 08 f250 gas'r. The 250hd sat on the lot for over a year cause it was a (what 6.6 said) was a cab and chassis the put a bed on to get rid of it. Bought it for 27k in sept. 2012 with 98 miles on it

Big difference in 14,000 vs 21,000. We are also over 13' tall, 102" wide. catches lots of air

Mess with a new truck in warranty with your above mods,, You risk GM saying you have no warranty... not worth it.

IMO, you also are unjust to any of the Big Three's big trucks to include the word "crappy" in its new motors. My LML starts middle of winter without a sign of exhaust, clear as you would ever want it to be, and delivers more stock power than previous models... Ford, GM or Dodge todays motors are great.

On interstates I tow at about 70 mph and 60-65 on other good roads. My rig is about 16K. I get around 10 mph overall.
My only concern is the load range j Michelins 17.5' tires I run on the fiver. I think their specs say 60 mph max.
