I would consider doing the delete, but we have bi-annual smog checks here.
Great reason not to live there! Live in never never land and don't sweat it.

Just to update those of you who care, which is probably nobody, I ended up with an H&S tuner. I thought it went with my previous truck, but I managed to find it in a bag of stuff that I took out before selling it to Carmax. I had to get a couple of cables and an unlock code to switch it to the new truck, but it works great. I've only burned about 3 gallons of fuel so far, so I can't really say much about any efficiency gains at this point. Now to figure out what to do with an old DPF/SCR/DOC. That thing is heavy.

I know of 2 trucks that have been deleted. Both have tunes.

On one the insides of the DPF were removed. Anyone that looks can't tell the truck was deleted.

The other has a new exhaust but the OEM exhaust is on the shelf so it can go back in if the the truck is sold.

If I did not live in Utah I would defenatly do the delete. But I can't. We have annual emmissions testing from the County and im not going to take it off and put it back on every year.
When my 6.7 warranty is up in a couple years I will probally do the 5 Star Tune.

I'm domiciled in South Dakota. No annual testing or inspections of any kind for vehicles registered there. It's pretty nice.
