Seems that Ford is planning to have a 6.7L Diesel motor, possibly dubbed Scorpion, for 2011. Below is a link for more information.

hubby and I were in the Ford dealer friday, the new engine is built by Ford and not international, as our crappy 04-F350 crew is!! Just spent 4500.00Canadian getting it fixed in Arizona on the way back to Canada..the egr went again! and took the oil cooler with it..shall see what Ford may do for us, we were 1 month out of the 5yr warranty, 144 miles out of the last repairs warranty and we only have 83,000 miles on this diesel eng. Maybe a new truck is in the future! hard pulling a 38' 5th wheel with the old explorer!LOL..Dona
