1. Symptoms were loss of turbo boost and black suet around the connection to the collector/Y-pipe. See pics below.
2. If you're going to take it apart, might as well fix it right vs. putting the same problem back in. We saved on labor by doing the job ourselves and I wanted to make sure my son learned a valuable lesson of doing it right the first time. It may cost you more in the short term, but you know that you will save in the long run.
But I do agree to RUN from a 6.0l.
