What brand of shocks to put on

Hi All,

I am replacing my shocks on my truck and am wondering if you all can give me any pointers on what brand/type to use.
'06 Ford F250 4x4 with coil springs on the front. Was told that this was 'rare'.
I don't know. I don't work on mechanicals for my truck.
I pull a 30' TT. I'm looking for towing stability (I have a WDH on), and ride comfort.

TIA

Bruce

Most Ford owners replace the OEM shocks with Bilsteins...very good shock.
A Monroe GasMagnum would probably good also.

Shocks

I just replaced my shocks on my 2012 F-250 4x4 with Monroe heavy duty gas. I found them on rockauto.com for $34 each. Very good shocks. Good luck my friend.

Every F250-350-450 2wd or 4x4 etc from '05 up has coils in the front.

Normally I use Bilsteins but Fox's are better though more $

Fulltimer,
Have you looked at the front suspension of your 350?

My point: It is my understanding that this particular forum is called POWERSTROKE ENGINE FORUM. Powerstroke engines dont use shocks.

@pmfsuspension.com is where I get all my Super Duty suspension stuff from. They stock Bilsteins, fox and Kong’s for every lift height.

Bilsteins are a good step above stock and world of difference over worn out stock shocks.

Fulltimer....true, but some of the Powerstroke engines can indeed be 'shocking'--

I currently have Bilstein's on my 2002 7.3, mounted the front two to the exhaust manifold I have also ran Monroe's with just as much success.
