Comments on M2 based Renegades?

Anyone have any experience with the M2 based Renegades? They seem to match up with the Dynamax DX-3 fairly evenly, although the Renegade is priced a little higher and may be trimmed up somewhat.

How about the DX-3? Anyone have one? Thoughts?

There does seem to be some sacrifice of interior room when compared to a similar length DP. Anyone have a comment about this?

The TC/larger C's are not allowed in some high end MH resorts, which only allow Class A's. Renegade tells me that they title the M2 and larger MH's as Class A's. Does a MV title even reflect this? Would a resort care what Renegade says the MH is? Do you have an issue with your TC in getting in some MH parks and resorts?

Thanks.

The place I dealt with in Las Vegas was very adamant. If it had an cab overhang and a hood it was a Class C and NOT ALLOWED. Well that made it pretty clear to me-lol.So down the road I went

Thanks. The Motorcoach resort there was one I was going to call to check. guess they don't need the business. The Port St Lucie (FL) motor coach resort told me much the same...not a bus, don't bother stopping. But that was 2 years ago.

In another forum, someone with a 45' MH similar to your avatar said he had never been turned away, although he didn't mention any particular place.

I'm going to call a few places, even though sometimes asking first isn't the best idea. I'll list the replies here.

I've never been turned away. But, I've never tried to stay in one of those fancy places. I think owning/driving a Truck Conversion is worth it being so much better than a Class A that it wouldn't matter about some park not wanting you there.

fancy resorts

I've been told that many have an exclusion in their bylaws and some are looking at having members vote on changing. Don't have any idea what wording they're looking at. I like it for my 2014 with 14000 was traded in on a Class A for this reason as they couldn't accompany their friends.
