Haulmark vs Dynamax

I need some feedback. Looking at 2011 45 -Haulmark- freightliner with Detroit engine and a 2008 dynamax 45 foot ultra with Mercedes engine. Both low miles. Show hauler has a thirteen speed and the dynamax has a allison transmission. Equally priced. Any pros or cons.

Wish I could help you but I do not know enough about Dynamax. I will tell you this though, When the time comes to replace my current MH I will consider Showhauler cause they seem to have good things going for themselves.

Everyone instead of showhauler I was refering to a 2011 haulmark. Sorry but I still need your input.

Can't help with the question, didn't even know Haulmark made motorized RV's.
But will offer that Dynamax is an established quality line from Forest River Inc.

I would rather have the 13 speed and Detroit Diesel engine, rather than the 5 or 6 speed Allison auto. Mainly because you have more gears to keep the engine in optimum rpm. I assume the 13 speed is an autoshift type? The Mercedes engine is not bad, it is actually quite similar to the Detroit, but it does have reputation as being a weak engine brake capacity. Which chassis is the Dynamax, I assume also Freightliner? I think you are good with either mfr, both been around and make good quality. Like many responses for used RVs, a lot depends on how it was maintained, both are out of warranty at this point.
