Snow stopped play. The truck does have a heater in the back that works through the hot coolant from the radiator. I hope to fit a Webasto night-heater in the future but at the moment I just have an electric 1300 watt fan heater plugged into the shore power socket.

This weekend was the first time I have been able to get to work on the truck this year. Fitted the microwave and put a shelf above. It finished off the back corner with the fridge.

Some more pictures of the progress. The shower stall is now done but not very photogenic. Fresh water tank and pump installed with a smaller version at the front for the shower. Waste water 25 gallon tank in place with 3 inch diameter drain. Parts bin and tool chest. Flooring next and then the dreaded electrics.

Working on the Mack. Not a lot of room. So it helps to have the big front bumper as an extra bench.

Also started on the floor.

Sorry to be so late in responding Gordon.

Looks like you had a lot of fun building that - congratulations. If anyone 's interested in doing something similar, but smaller, I have a 96 GMC 3500 4WD diesel ambulance that's looking for a new home. Engine is questionable, aluminum box in great shape.

I would be tempted by a 4x4 if I was to build another one. This one is on offer for $20,000 with less than 50,000 miles; built in 1994. From the same website that I bought the Mack.
