MSRP Discount?

There's a thread in the 'A' subforum discussing the amount of discount one can typically get on a new coach (up to 35% apparently.)

I'm wondering if the truck conversions can be had for similar discounts or are they more of a 'specialty' item and the dealers less likely to negotiate discounted pricing?

Those of you who have bought new, do you mind sharing what percentage off 'MSRP' you were able to negotiate?

Thanks in advance.

MSRP doesn't apply to TCs as most are spec'd by the ordering dealer and will very based on the equipment installed. You can use the class A number, but it is really a negotiation between you and the dealer.

Some discount is achievable.

I worked with two dealers ... North Trail RV and IWS Motorcoaches (IWS Motor Coaches | RVs, Trailers, and Luxury Motor Coaches for Sale).

North Trail blew them out of the water in terms of pricing.

After you add options some of your discount goes away

I received pricing that supposedly was between 15% and 20% off of MSRP from both dealers. But since I was ordering from scratch both dealers gave me slightly different MSRPs.

BTW ... the IWS website is second to none in terms of viewing Renegade Videos. Ben Benedict, in IWS sales was great to talk to. But in the end they just couldn't compete on price for the same optioned out coach.
