New member check-in

Just acquired 2015 Villagio & anxious to make first outing this week. Had an Airstream Basecamp before so this 25 footer is huge to us. First question we have is on water system. We have (4) position selector for water management. One is for “winterizing”, one for “City Water”, one for “Tank” & fourth is “Normal”. We’re heading to state park with full hook-ups, what does “Normal” mean? If I connect to campground water is that “normal” or “city”?

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new rig. I would imagine that city water is what you want when hooked up to a water supply.

That’s what I figured but if “City” is for hook up, “Tank” is for no hook up, what is “Normal” used for? Only thing that’s real clear is “Winterize”!

Normal position is what you select to use the onboard fresh tank. Tank position is what you select to fill the onboard tank. City is selected when hooked up to a water supply. And winterize/sanitize is selected to do either.

Thanks for precise/complete answer. I spoke with Renegade yesterday & that’s exactly what they said. Now I’m having a problem using the coiled flush hose housed in a small compartment with a white plastic door (about 6”x6”). It has a male quick-connect on hose end that I cannot get to mate with the female quick-connect fitting. I use both water & pneumatic quick-connects around home frequently but this one just won’t make connection. Any ideas? Thanks.

There are several different types of connectors for the sewer hose(learned that the hard way). All connectors work on the main. You just have to get two of the same. On my Valencia it was easier to buy two of the same to use that to do the “trial and error” at Camping World/Walmart

Quick connect flush hose no longer a problem. Think it was not used for a long time so fittings just needed to be cleaned up a bit plus stronger push with good leverage. Working fine now. Enjoying our first trip this week to Caballo Lake New Mexico state park.
