Now this is my idea of a conversion. Could this box be 42' long ? Thats what it would take for my design of a two bedroom/two bath/two king size tip-up murphy beds, with the slide at the foot of the beds, not the bed sliding out, so they could be used on the road or overnight, without the slides out. Looks like a Kingsley Coach. Are you looking at buying that one? Or just figuring out how you want your truck built? Anything can be done. One of the bigger truck conversions I've seen is for sale here: Sanders 2003 Kingsley Coach Custom RV with Trailer

I live about an hour from the lot where this rig is located. I've looked it over a bit. It's a pretty impressive rig. Especially with the matching stacker trailer. If you want to come to Mn I'll pick you up at the airport (I live about 10 minutes from MSP) and we can go check it out. I'm always up for a truck conversion checkout. I've got no connection to that site. I did make him an offer on a t/c before buying mine. That's about it. Just like to see t/c's being bought and sold. I see he doesn't have the price listed on the site anymore. Seems to me they were listing it somewhere in the mid $300's, with the trailer.

Bob, that was the "Stone" 2006 Kingsley, for sale by the same folks.
Really nice, but even my own design of two bedrooms is too long to use, it was just a dream I had. I really believe one should be built so you could answer "It only sleeps two" when asked, if your plans are to use it to fulltime.
Finding someone to work on it, who cares as much about doing the job correctly, as I do, it just has to be a truck conversion. With the class 'A', finding qualified repair shops and mechanics was the problem.
I had the fulltiming bug before my wife died in 04 and can't seem to move on, but still believe one should be built to your own personal "specs".
I believe the daycab type trucks give more real usable space and less design problems than the sleeper type, but needs the cab top opened to box for entrance/exit comfort. Bobby
