Poll: Spyder control; love it or hate it ?

Just curious how others feel about the Spyder control feature in many of the new coaches? Personally, I have a preference for good ole switches. What say you ?

Rick, if you are talking about that mini iPad device mounted by the stove when you say Spyder Control, so far it's OK. It works as advertised, but I wish they were portable within the unit. Also it needs an auto sleep option for the screen, I found out how to do it manually.

Ray, not sure what brand Renegade uses, but that's what I was asking about. The Coachhouse we owned ( briefly) had one. I thought the 'cool' factor was high but I didn't care for it from the practicality standpoint , especially in the middle of the night on a bathroom run! For me it's just easier to find a switch. Don't know how reliable they will prove to be but it just seems like something else to fail. Probably just the fear of technology on my part. For portability, is there an app you can use to control it ?

Must be something in the 36VSB that we don't have.....Sounds like I shouldn't miss it.

My coach is a 2018 and does not have it. It is one of the upgrades that Renegade did on the 2019 models.

Had to go cure my curiosity...... I am assuming that's it on the wall by the microwave.

On our '17 Verona there's a wall of switches underneath the main awning controller as you come up the steps into the coach... Of course, we NO LONGER use the awning controller for fear of it not going back in.
