Portable Fridge-Freezer Slideout Tray

Shortly after we bought our Verona we added a Dometic CFX 95DZW portable fridge/freezer and with three boys we need the food storage. We carry it in our second second storage bay and it has worked flawlessly and we enjoy being able to use either side as a freezer or refrigerator or combination. Only issue is I have not been able to find a slide out tray that I could mount it on to gain better access. I see options for smaller fridge/freezers but not the 95DZW that has external dimensions of 19"Hx38"Wx21"D. I was wondering if anyone else had one of these and had been successful in finding a slide out tray?

Buy some heavy duty drawer slides and plywood to make your own (or hire a handyman). The attached example should not be hard to make.

Morryde makes them. Check out the link.

Thanks for the suggestion as Morryde was my first stop, but in talking with them they do not have a front pull tray model that will accommodate my fridge/freezer's size. Short on length by a few inches.

I am talking with a fabricator about building a metal version (aluminum and stainless) but was hoping I was simply missing an off the shelf offering.

I appreciate all the help!

tray...

Hello,

Have the same unit as you. I have a Renegade Classic so I'm not sure if the door size is different? Purchased my unit at IWS and they fabricate the stainless steel trays for these Dometic units on site. As a matter of fact, they can fabricate anything in their shops. I'm sure they could make one for you or even have a few in stock for purchase. It would not be cheap but would be done correctly and you would be very satisfied. Mine slides out from the inside and when the lids are open they are at least 8" away from the truck wall. It is so sturdy that I can put a case of water on top of one side and fill the other. Tried to put some pics up but having issues. Call Marty or Steve and ask them to hook you up to the right service guy. 800.376.7114 Good Luck, Paul (I'll keep trying the pics)
