I'm seriously considering having a Renegade Explorer built, and would appreciate any comments concerning Kibbi/Renegade. The Explorer is a rather new model so I know comments specifically about it would be few or none. The company itself is what I would like to hear about.

I dnot know about the Explorer but I sure do like my Renegade. Had a class A DP before buying the Renegade last year. I bought thru Eldorado Trailer Sales here in WI as it was on the line being built. The factory was more then happy to make the changes I wanted. Very solid unit, just love it.
Mine has had to go back to the factory two times now to fix my tile floor. I have had cracking. Again no questions asked they replaced the entire floor the first time and the 2nd time just the tiles that crack. They told me they will fix it until I am happy. I have not been to the factory myself since Eldorado folks are more then happy to drive it down and bring it back. While it was at the factory I had them make some some other minor changes which they were happy to do so. I will be taking the rig back this spring for them to make one more mod for me.
I have spoken to three or four of the people at Renegade via phone and they all seem very nice and again willing to make me happy.

If you have questions I am sure Abby or Charlie at Eldorado would be more than happy to talk with you.

Good luck and if I can be of any help let me know

I looked at several Renegade units while searching for my truck conversion. Very good quality I would say. I've driven by the factory a few times on I90 and one of these times I'm going to stop and see if I can get a tour. Yay! for another truck conversion buyer. You'll love it.

I've also been in EdS's rig, wow, thatsa nice truck. Hay Ed, were'nt you toying with upgrading? Maybe Bladkins would take a look at your truck?

Hey Bob,
Happy new Years!!

Yes I was looking at upgrading to the very same unit but a couple of changes. A second slide in the bedroom, no recliner rather move the door forward and extend the counter top, and maybe do a cab roof cut out. This idea has been side lined for now since dw has not brought up the subject. My guess the subject will come back up when we start using the rig again this spring.

This year we will be running east and south meaning more miles. Reminded dw the other day that before we left Lake Elmo last year we made and paid for our rv reservations for this year. Same spot.
Cant wait for spring........

Bladkins, Ed's rig has a small garage in the back. Perfect for some cycles, a golf cart, or maybe a Smart car. Is that something like you want? Maybe make him an offer so he can get that second slide in the bedroom.

Ed, we should get together when you come to Lake Elmo. Maybe dinner or something?

No thanks for two reasons: I don't want the garage and I'm having the Explorer built to my specifications. After six other motorhomes, this is the motorhome I'll die with so I'm trying to get it right.
