Air bags on the front

the truck a 1999 Freightliner Sport Chassis, straight axle 7000 pound front end, some where I saw a picture of someone who had air bags on their front axle, so the question is, have you had them or have them now, do you have any comparison to no air bags and having them put on, were they worth it ? And secondly where would I look to find some for my truck ?

There's a lot of information on air ride suspension.

Jeep,

There are a couple kits out...but all kits don't fit..it has something to do with the shape of your u bolt...so be careful if you order...

My rig is pretty smooth but I am a tinkerer ..and i have the time so I explored this option. The cost would be @ 1K. ..before install.

I am told I wouldn't feel much difference. Better to play around with air pressures.. you need your weight split and a your specific tire pressure table. And your pin weight. This does make a difference.

Brand / make of tires makes a difference.

I am also exploring removing one spring leaf..

As I mentioned to 97 Intl 4700, I hope to be at a spring shop this weekend.

I have a thread here specifically on this...check it out..my guess is that our numbers are probably very similar.

Cheers..
