Tachometer

my tachometer has started to act funny, erratically even, jumping from 700 rpm to 500 rpm, no change in the engine speed, just the needle, has anyone this happen to your rig, and any thoughts what might be happening?

The first thing I do with dash electrical problems is re do the grounds. Then all outher connections. Bad grounds ar on one of the most common problems. Let us know what you find.
