8v92 rebuild mechanic shop suggestions

I have a 1993 Prevost h3-45 with a Detroit diesel 8v92, it needs a rebuild. I've been calling around to find out prices. Seems like there are not many shops that work on the 2 cycles anymore. Any mechanic shop suggestions would've greatly appreciated, anywhere between ohio and california would work for us.

I just had my 6V92 in-framed at Valley Power in Sacramento on my 1990 Country Coach Concept. Greg Howell is the lead foreman and has about 30 years experience with these Detroit 2 strokes. Feel free to PM me and I'll give you my number. I would be happy to share my experience in detail with you. I had them replace all major components; cylinders, complete new heads, supercharger, turbocharger and the list goes on. Plan on about $3,200 a hole. I got it back mid-July and have put about 3,000 miles on it already.

The two cycle Detroit was a mainstay in the public transport bus fleets years ago. If you know anyone in the public transit maintenance world, they may be able to point you to some help.

Hey there Tim. Did you ever end up rebuilding your 8V92?
