Eagle 7 Bus Conversion.

We found this bus and we really like it but being our first Rv we don't know much about, so any help will be highly appreciated.
Converted in 1987 by Dave Fisher of Rogue Coaches, Medford Oregon.

She looks good from the outside. Couple of things I see straight away from that picture though are:

• Possible raised roof conversion - in the neighborhood of about six inches or so. Check with the converter and see what their process is (if possible).
• Alcoa wheel conversion or simulators? If simulators, make sure there are not split rims hiding behind them. Split rims = BAD.
• Possible cap job - Unless my eyes decieve me, that's a Model 10 front end on a Model 05 body.

Other than that, there's a bunch of things I could recommend. To get you the relevant stuff, we're gonna need mor' pictures and details!

Awesome! If the coach performs as well as it looks, it should be a winner. Hopefully, the price is reasonable. Since this is your first coach, suggest you do a forum search here re buying your first RV. There is a lot of good advice and valuable experience here on what to look for and how to objectively evaluate such a purchase. Just MO....

The guy wants 39000$ for it and I will have an rv mechanic to check everything on it.
We plan to offer 35000$ if everything's ok.

Thanks for the info. I know very little about MH conversions except that I think they are totally awesome!! If it is well done and in excellent shape, that price seems very reasonable to me for such a beautiful coach. Really hope it works out for you.

One stall away from our coach at our covered storage facility sits an older Greyhound (I think) bus conversion. Nowhere near as nice as the one you are considering, but still really neat. The thing just sits and sits and sits. Never moves....and no one ever comes around. Someone put a ton of love and some serious $$$'s into the outside. Can't see the inside; but if it's done as well as the outside, it must be very interesting. Tires are shot, oil leak at rear, etc. Have not pursued who owns it 'cause I'm scared that the owner may want to sell it.... AND I would probably want to buy it! That would not be good for a whole lot of reasons. But, man, the thing is just begging for someone to breathe life back into it....and that would really be a fun project. It is that kooool! Just gotta' quit lookin' at it I guess....sigh.

Make sure your mechanic looks for rust. Eagles are notorious for rusting out. Here is a link from this forum you should read.

I hope it is in great shape. It is a spectacular looking bus.

I always thought Duo-Therm AC for RV's biggest was a 15,500 BTU unit.
Are they Heat pumps also?

No satellite dish?
