Here's some pics of our 1997 Prevost

We traded a 2008 DP with slides for a 1997 straight side bus and couldn't be happier!

Yes, some friends asked where we got the wind generator upgrade.

We wanted the quality and durability of a bus and couldn't afford one with slides.

As for pictures of the interior:

Note the carbon fiber faucet, gotta save weight!

Added a 32" TV across from the sofa, it is held in place by the window shade and stays put going down the road

Here's the bathroom but it's before we put our stuff in it

I thought that it was the "pusher" part of the diesel.

I too went from a 42-foot quad slide 2008 Beaver Contessa to a non slide 1999 Country Coach (Prevost Conversion). As hard as it may seem, the Prevost, with 100,000 miles, rides a lot better than my Beaver. I thought the Beaver drove fine, so that wasn't what compelled the change. Why we changed was that I wanted more dependability. Although I believe CAT overcame their problems and I was never stranded, too many CAT C-9 owners of the 2007+ engines did have problems. I simply didn't want to be stranded in a remote location like the Yukon. Giving up the space and the fine joinery that Beaver is known for were both very hard. Having know logged over 20,000 miles and driven from Florida to Alaska, I don't have any regrets.

Thanks for all the compliments! BTW, the good looking fellow in many of my pictures is my sweet fuzzy hubby.
