10 or 12 foot van box

Am looking to replace my 14 foot garage on the back of my truck with a 10 or 12 foot one. Seems the shorter boxes are more difficult to fine. There is one in Orlando, but the guy isn't responding well to my requests for photos and such, and its a 6 to 7 hour ride up and back to South Florida. You would think with everything here there would be one somewhere closer. Made a couple contacts to complete vehicles listed on Truck Paper but no response to a request for a price on the box only.

Post a response here if you have a location or suggestion.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just shorten your existing box?

If I was able to do most of the work, yes.

But I don't have the patience to work through something like that and right now I don't have a place to do it. If I had not built a custom trailer and maybe had been able to back up to a replacement trailer before actually agreeing to purchase it I may have done this completely different. Didn't and can't now so I am trying to find the most cost effective revision that I know I will be able to do. 1993 is when I should have started all this. Had more time, more locations where I might have been able to contemplate a task such as this and I would be 10 years younger. Once again. Didn't and can't turn back time.

Thanks for your comment.

You won't find (or at least I didn't) a UHaul box under 12 foot without the "Mom's Attic". Thanks for the suggestion.

Check with a trailer company. They make trailers all day. Tell them you want the box only with no axles. One of the HDT'rs had don't that at the west coast HDT rallies.
