Warpath,
My thanks also -- if possible,a file upload/download area would be great. Forum members would have a place to share manuals, tech bulletins, etc.

Last Nite, Friday, I checked into the MDT HDT chat room, low and behold a few chimed in. All happened around 8 or 9 pm. We chatted for an hour or more, all had fun. Even learned a few things. There where MDT and HDT people on.
Check in some nite and see if anyone chimes in.

I have hesitated throwing my hat in this ring. Even though the title of the forum is MDT/HDT I have not seen any MDTs, specifically class 5s chime in yet. And probably for good reason as they seem to get beat down in other forums.

But I am an eternal optimist, so here I go again.

When Bob asked me about what I thought of adding the MDT/HDT forum, the first thing I said was split it up. After a short period on the Escapees forum the guys started crying the same song. It seems most of the chit chat happens on the HDT side and thus it seems like we are dominating the conversations. Not the intent just seems we like to talk about or rigs more then the others

I suggest we do the same here, it keeps the peace.

I agree with David, if someone where to talk about MDT's i would chime them out as doesn't have anything to do with HDT's and i am sure the MDT folks do the same when someone is talking about HDT.

David does have a good point. There have been both MDT & HDT people in the new chat room. So far no problems with anyone, as to what they pull with.
This is new, here on IRV2, I still think it is a good idea. Divide it up like on Escapees, will probally happen, in time. But for now we can see if it will survive as a new chat area. I would like to again, invite anybody to chime in any nite, and see who will chime in, and get a good conversion going.

I was not really addressing the chat area, that works for everyone. I am thinking the area where we do our posting.

Agree with David -- mixing the MDT and HDT forum folks will cause confusion in the future. I believe two separate forums will speed the growth of both.

David...yes I do agree with seperate forum postings...I did make the mistake of thinking it was the chatting in the new room. My fault.

On another subject....that is a NICE sweet ride you just got....neat

Aaah well, I guess that's it for me and it's a shame 'cause I said way back when the sensitive types on the MDT page at Escapee's were grumping at the HDT stuff that if we lose the HDT interest/input the only thing the MDT's were talking about at that time was the colour of their upholstery. I have continue posting on the HDT site as well as the MDT site over there and to date no one has made me feel unwelcome and would hope the same allowances would be made here.
