My coaches previous owners had the brakes "repaired" due to a ?recall? in 2005. I have the invoice.
Does anyone know anything about this and if there was a recall on the brakes, how does it compare with the recall of today.
I asked the dealer about this and, of course, their useless. When asked, I was told by service manager, "I don't know", but according to the documents their shop did the work. He said he cannot give out any info on previous work without the permission from the previous owner!!
Is this true??
Anyway, comments???

The 50401-C campaign was directly involved in replacing the guide pins on the ZOPS caliper. At that time is was observed that the pins were interfering with the operation of the caliper causing seizures. Bosch provided the parts and Workhorse provided the labor to remedy the condition.
Todays campaign is directed toward all ZOPS and ZOHT type calipers and all of those calipers are to be be replaced numbering over 50,000 vehicles. At this time finding an unmodified ZOPS caliper is going to be pretty rare since that campaign is basically completed. At that time the population of RV chassis was few compared to the present day. The majority of the vehicles that were severely affected by the ZOHT recall were the fleets of school busses using Bosch hydraulic brakes.
The campaign today (50901-C) has narrowed the focus down to the piston bores and the formulation of the material used in the pistons (phenolic). You will be sent a letter via USPS when the final remedy is available and ready to be installed on our rigs.

Thanks Driver, like the others, I will wait, and maintain scrutiny.
