1989 31' Winnebago Chieftain

I recently purchased a 1989 31' Winnebago Chieftain with 67,000 miles on it. I am the third owner. The previous owner was 83 years old and owned it since 1994 and no longer trusted himself to drive the motorhome so it sat a lot recently. I am in the process of trying to get it inspected but am having problems finding parts. It is a Chevy chassis with a 454. I need a new parking brake cable that goes from the pedal to the drum at the transmission but according to the chevy dealer it is no longer available. Any idea where I can find one so I can pass inspection and start enjoying the coach? It has disc brakes front and rear but I do not think it has the auto brake that I keep seeing in my searches

GM only has to stock parts for their products for 10 years so it may be tough to find. You may have to fabricate your own cable hookup or have someone fabricate it for you. Good luck.
