Hi all - have been having some low power issues for a little while and finally had the OBD Code pop up as P0171. https://www.obd-codes.com/p0171 Going to be doing some maintenance next week (Oil Change/Lube) and picked up 2 AC Delco GF-652 Fuel Filters and will grab a can of MAF Cleaner and clean that out also. Does anyone have an approximate location of the 2 FF's? Have seen Inside Frame Rail of both Driver's and Pass sides. Figured I'd ask before I head under next week. Thanks.

PO171 is a lean condition . Not enough gas or too much air. Fuel pomp, fuel filter, vacuum leak, Mass air flow or intake tube leak.

First thing I'd do is clean the MAF and replace the air filter.

Don't use K&N as it can be over oiled and contaminate the MAF.

We have a '99 Safari Trek on the Chevrolet chassis, and the "Hidden" fuel filter is halfway on the passenger side frame rail. Also the same on our previous '83 chassis so they did this for many years.
