Exclamation 2004 Holiday Rambler Vacationer Dash air problem

My 2004 HR vacationer has the 8.1 workhorse chassis. I am having issues with my dash AC. I found the low pressure port where you can add the freon but I cannot locate the high pressure port. I suspect it has had to much freon put in the system and is causing the cooling issue. I want to hook up the gauges and see what the high side pressure is but I cannot find the port. I have followed the lines the best I can and also removed the doghouse and looked at the compressor. No luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am a rookie at this rv stuff. ( Just purchased this one 2 month's ago) but work on my other vehicles all the time.

Would the dryer and expansion valve be the same as a 2004 chevy suburban with the 8.1 engine

The high pressure port is close to the compressor, I can reach mine through the front, but removing the dog house might be easier.

Here is an accumulator that will fit. https://www.comfortairgr.com/shop/re...vcs-054-00139/

not sure about the expansion valve but if you call the guys from above link they might be able to help you out.

The high side port is about 16" in front of the compressor. Be very careful when accessing it, it doesn't have a schrader valve in it like most do. It has some type of rubber ball, and very easily damaged. I just had to cut the old valve out of my 03 because when I took my gauges off after charging, that old valve leaked. Just so you know that valve can be replaced, but it's not an easy job. Dorman makes a replacement valve, so you have to cut the old valve out and the new valve has compression fittings and seals. Good luck.
