The bearing is failing in my A/C compressor clutch on my 05 Pace Arrow.
Anyone know of a good place to purchase a new A/C compressor at a fair price? The part # is 52445253. Thanks in advance for any help.
I have time because I just got done winterizing it yesterday.
It's just a very sad time of year up north here.

I had a howling bearing in my compressor about two years ago.

We had to find the correct compressor and ended up at CarQuest. My compressor came from a S-10 Chevrolet (I think).

I put a new expansion valve in also at the same time. Finding the insulation for the valve is here, The system works great.

I Think I paid around $700 for the new compressor, expansion valve (it was from something like a '98 Jeep cherokee), the R&R and pump down (evacuate) the new system and recharge.

The compressor by itself was about $200.

Best of luck,

Try acparts.com I've had good service from them, of course you will have to find a local shop to install and charge the system.
Good luck

If its just the pulley bearing, the bearing it self can be replaced with a new one. I had mine go out in small town in In. Napa shop toke off compressor, removed pulley, pressed bearing out,got the no. off it, $12 bearing, put back together and off I went. Much cheaper than replacing the whole compresser you dont need.

It sure would be great to find the bearing # for that clutch. I would replace it now with 34,000 miles rather than letting it tear up the compressor. I've got lots of time and the tools. Not so much money for new compressor.
Extended warranty runs out in feb. They will be happy to see me go away. $14K for engine, $1-1/2K on a/c condensor 3 years ago.
