Our chassis warranty expires in May and there are a few things I want to have checked that I cannot do until June. Probably will drive to Brazels on our way to Tahoe from Phx area for a summer trip. Is there a way these items could be covered a month after warranty if covered issues are identified?

17K Miles

1) Erratic fuel gauge problem - probably needs new sensor (instrument cluster already replaced and not likely the problem). Would the tank need to be drained for this or ?

2) I want to have the brakes checked out for rotor cracks just in case.

3) Might have a CAI installed to go with the UltraPower I have had a few years. Last firmware update was summer '07 I wonder if there is a new one? Also, just replaced my plugs with ones that are recommended for the UP.

4) Have Brazels check out the chassis overall for any other possible warranty items I may not know about.

Thoughts?

Probably to get it covered under warranty you are going to have to get it done before the warranty expires. Find a Workhorse center near your home and get the warranty work done ASAP. You might get lucky and get it done under warranty if you wait but if you don't get lucky then you could be out some of your own money.

The next step would be to complain about how Workhorse wouldn't take care of your problems.

I'm not saying that you absolutely would complain but there have been others over the last few years who have done similar things and then pi#$%d and moaned about it.

Save yourself the trouble and get it done early.

Unless you have a problem documented before it goes out of warranty, you are not gonna want to hear all the "no" you'll hear.
Get in quickly.
