I have a 2006 W22 chassis and have only had the #5 plug wire fail. Brakes work fine and it handles better than my 1999 F53 chassis and is comsiderably smoother and quieter. However I read where the newer F53's are better. I would miss the Allison transmission most.

Where did you read this? I would like to read it as I've seen no owner report's on the new F53 chassis.
