Hello,
We went to the Pomona Show and the DW fell in love with the Winnie Voyage 32H. It is on a 220" wheelbase stretched from the standard Workhorse 208" (e-mail response from Winnie customer service).
Any imput from stretched chassis owners would be appreciated.
Thanks
Randy

Their equipment is second to none. I have been on the floor in the shop and have seen them stretch frames. The entire process is quite remarkable.

I have a 248" up from 228". It's never been a problem.

Where's the shop/factory line in Central-Mid West. Can one tour the plant?

Winnebago is in Forest City, Iowa. Yes, you can tour their plant. You need to call them at 800-643-4892. Their open Mon thru Fri 9-AM until 1-PM April thru October.

What I don't understand is why Winnie did not go with the standard 228" WB instead of stretching the 208. Seems kind of silly to stretch when a standard is so close. Now DriVer, I can understand yours since the longest seems to be the 228" WB that the W22 came in.

WCC also offers the W series in a 242" standard WB. ED

I suspect costs come into play somewhere here.
