1st brake lock up last July 4th heading out on a trip. Towed in to dealership, they replaced right rear caliper and abs sensor. Workhorse paid all but 150.00 they said towing company caused when they removed driveshaft to tow. OK I paid. Tried to go again in August, right front locked up. Same Workhorse recommended repair center replaced right front caliper but Workhorse said not due to manufacturing defect so I must pay. I paid. Yesterday heading down the road 5 miles from home and left front locks up. Had already replaced brake fluid and lubed caliper slides to prevent this but it still happened. I could go ahead and replace remaining calipers but since they aren't the updated ones they will not last and will be replaced again if a recall happens. Would really like to take a trip in July but the only way I would feel comfortable that I wouldn't be stranded would be to replace them myself but what a waste to have to have them taken back off and thrown away in a couple months. Loved my Workhorse chasiss when I first bought it but now I hate it because I have lost all confidence in the quality of the manufacturing and in the company to take care of their customers. Will not buy another and will tell every RV person I see my story and let them know there are many others in the same situation as myself.

I also got tired of waiting and the uncertainty of when will I break down again. I contacted B&W Brake in Kansas City and bought 4 rebuilt calipers with new pads for $95 each. With shipping to a friends business address I had $455 in parts and put them on myself. I feel I will get at least a couple years out of these and if there is a recall I will turn in the original parts and use the replacements for anchors!! I now have the peace of mind.
