Ready to put some air into engine compartment. I too have had 2 burned wires and am only guessing they were the ones. Anyway, I'm aware of posts saying be sure to get air on them. None of my docs show which they are. Looking at engine from front which are they?

7 is last one on driver side and 5 is right beside it. So looking at engine from front it would be on your right. Just had vent kit installed on mine and it seems to work fine. I have had no additional problems.

Westies, Who installed your engine ventilation, and what does it consist of. Have read of them on this site, but not sure what they consist of , and where to get one.

Thanks for any info

Workhorse has a writeup on their website WCC Vent Kit.

But you can can go to Home Depot or Lowes and get some 4" or 6" register outlets (heat and a/c dept), some large hose style clamps, some corrugated hose (over in the sewer dept), make a few brackets an you have a DIY version for a lot less.

If you use our "FIND" feature look up "Jestme13" and he shot pictures of his vent kit.

Gotta love it. $156 for that. Next they'll be selling "instructional" kits on how to boil water. Especially like "All engines need air and a cool breeze". I asked the customer serv person I last spoke with where the test facility was and was told " up in cold country". I suggested they put mockup coaches fully weighted and run them out here to the new Hyundia/Kia road test facility here to see how they do w/ the "must have" air dams and w/o air right on engine. Forget air to the ac box. The " This racing-style air-ducting kit brings air to your engine directly where it is needed most to help keep your engine bay cool and your motor running smoothly." The only motor I'm aware of in the area is the starter. Anyway that kit's gotta make the a/c go zoom zoom zoom. I'm peeing down my leg with this one!

OK Guyz, I think my air cooling kit has failed me, but I can't say for sure. After limping home from Maine yesterday, it appears that it was not bad fuel. tonight I will change out a couple of those dastardly plug wires and go for a ride. I sure hope I can go to the national this saturday

My vent kit was installed by my dealer. Real clean install that consists of two PVC scoops, one on each side of grill opening. This leads into some 3 inch flexible tubing. The tubing snakes along frame and exits just ahead of #5 plug and #6 plug. Due to the fact I am 400 miles from nearest Workhorse depot, they did not hesitate after two trips and two wire problems. Only problems I have had with new coach except now I notice I have a leaking differential front seal which they have authorized my local mechanic to change out.
