Jim, had the same problem on my coach. Went through the steps to research, found this........
OEM fan unit cost, depending where you find it, over $240 EACH!!! Not a good choice! Also the factory fans are hard to find in my area.
From a previous poster on irv2.com, found that the Hayden 12" fan fit right in the stock housing.
From memory......
1. Remove fan unit from radiator.
2. Buy 2 Hayden 12" fans from auto parts store: I paid $68.00 apiece from Kragen.
3. Remove old fan motors from each housing assembly, cut old wire connections and put them on new fan motors. Fan motors fit perfectly. Wire color coding is the same.
4. Test on bench.
5. Re-install assembly.
I think it took me about an hour to replace.
