I downloaded the texaco app but there are not any stations here in NJ.
I'm curious about this too.

Another alternative that I have been using is Startron. I started using it in my boats several years ago really does well to stabilize fuel and prevent ethanol problems.

I wish they would stop the ethanol add, but with gas heading to 5 bucks/gallon (+), I doubt it will happen. It will cost $400 to put 75 gal of fuel in these RV's very shortly!!

We all need to learn how to deal with 15% ethanol because the days of ethanol free fuel will be over shortly. It's that or park 'em.

I paid $ 4.19 for reg. yesterday at Arco. Costco $ 4.15 but hard to maneuver.

I have my Techron additive !

So even though the bottle says treats 15 gallons it will be enough for a 75 gallon tank ?

Or do I need to put five of them in there for the first treatment ?

Thanks again.

Once I hit the E it will be one 15 FL OZ + three 20 FL OZ bottles. And I will do this every 3,000 miles. That could be once a year or it could be more. It just depends on wher I park it!

I figure one can is better than none if you never had any pinging before. It can't hurt. Other than that, find a Chevron station to fill up at. They claim it is blended into their gasoline mixture.

When I was involved in '98 flying the #28 & #88 Nascar teams around (Robert Yates Racing), I was amazed that all the sparks plugs were removed after every test run on the various tracks. The engine builders for the two cars looked at each plug with a high powered magnifying glass. They said that was the only way to know what exactly is going on inside those engines.

I'm carrying some extra trextron with me and I'll put a can in at fillup each time.

Thanks for the information. Looking at their website it looks like there a re a couple of different kinds of cleaner / techron. I guess I will pick up enough for a tankful every three thousand miles.

Max, I would love to stop my a Texaco or Chevron station, the problem is there are not any here in the northeast. They are only in the southern part of the country.

Yes sir Max it is amazing that we as consumers swallow this 100,000 mile baloney. As long as I have been working on engines spark plugs and oil are CHEAP maintenance.

Yep, saved $50 in plug cost and burned $200 extra gas because of it.

Valero stations also have Techron in their fuel if you have those in the area where you live.

Really? They are known as the "cheep" or "discount" gas around here.
