8.1 starts then quits after 2 secs

As the title says my 2004 Fleetwood Storm starts up and can rev to about 2200 rpms (if I give it a little throttle) then after a second or two drops down to about 300 rpms then after sec or two, dies. I checked and changed the fuel filter, had the wife turn on the key and verified fuel flow with a tube into a bucket. (apox. 1 pint came out in 2 seconds)Also pump sounded smooth and quite.
Don't know where to go from here.

8.1 redux

Also forgot to mention that the Rv had been sitting for several months.
About a month ago, while doing a walk around, I could smell something odd and discovered the Battery control center chassis terminal was arcing. The spacer between the box and the power bar had deteriorated and was shorting against the box. This knocked out part of the control board. Replaced the control board from RV custom products (OEM) and all systems worked. (But didn't start up engine)
While checking out slide controls I left the ignition key on for about 5 hours before I found out when looking for my keys when shutting RV up.

You should check for Diagnostic trouble codes. That may point to s problem area.

Thanks for updating us. That's a new problem I haven't seen for the MAF.
