More snake oil.
From Wikipedia -
"Oxyhydrogen is often mentioned in conjunction with devices that claim to operate a car using water as a fuel. Because the energy required to split water exceeds the energy recouped by burning it, these devices reduce, rather than improve fuel efficiency."

Actually.. From what I read.. There is a chance that they may actually make a SMALL improvement on SOME engines... Mostly older ones though
Modern engines you are better off talking to Mike Brazil
There is also a secondary effect..
These devices use the dreaded HydrogenHydroxide (Yet another name for water) to create their OxyHydrogen (Browns) Gas.
Now water has been proven to be a major component of acid rain, it promotes rust (this is a biggie)
You do not wish to promote rust inside your engine.. Trust me on that, you don't want to do it.
Kind of reminds me of a friend (in fact my daughter's godfather) Who was bragging about home much money he was saving buying his gas at a discount station near where he lived (And one I drove past every day on my way home from work) where as I was paying way more for Amoco near where I live...........
Till he had to put in a new fuel pump.
Tank mounted pump on that VW Vanagan was over 300 bucks.. you see. Amoco in the winter adds "De-Icer" (Which we all know as alcohol) to the gas to soak up any water in the tank
The discount station.... Added water

I have several 55 gallon drums of snake oil I'll sell you. Guaranteed to improve whatever you want, from fuel economy to lumbago.
The ONLY people who have gotten anything out of this stuff is those who are profiting on the hype, or who fixed a pre-existing failure condition by some magic that happened with the conversion.

Believe it or not, there is a company that sells a unit that is specifically made for Semi-Tractors that really does work. I takes distilled water, breaks it down into Oxygen and Hydrogen, and then feeds it into the intake air. Two ways of doing it, just feeding the browns gas, or just they hydrogen.
Of course a recalibration is required to make the system work and improvements in fuel economy are on the order of 10% at best.
NOTE that this is *not* running the engine on water, but merely a hydrogen boost to the diesel that is normally fed into the engine.

Hey, why not add some mothballs to that water, and get a 20% gain in mileage.

If I put moth balls in my tank, I would have a VERY large moth and then he could open his wings and fly me to the next stop!

Here's a link to an interesting discussion on another forum. All this took place back in 2006. Since we haven't heard a lot more about this in two years, I suspect it's not a viable energy source: Denny Klein - Fuel from Water - Is this a scam?
