I'd like to take this small chance to thank DriVer and edgray and Rebelsbeach (and
others) for having the vision to leave the good AND the bad in the Archives here on the Forums. I'd like to also encourage Forum Members to learn how and use this great resource. *Everything* is in there in some shape or form. For a couple of examples: The WCC oil pressure loss shown at 4100 RPMS (too small buffer) which (if you follow the thread) leads to how an oil filter internal failure can create low oil pressure, which leads to Rusty's excellent posts on why the long 2 qt. "truck" filter is a good idea, which leads to astounding (IMHO) reports of 8.1 L 17 PSI hot idle oil pressure being labled as OK, and---"The Sticking Brake Caliper Story"---about how the Governt. has determined that: #1 The issue greatly reduced by a huge margin when WCC began installing the brake linkage zerk fitting as Standard Equipment and: #2 The bad players were the systems made by Bosch and installed by WCC.

Both of these subjects have been recently cussed and discussed on the Forum and they are in the Archives....we just need to look.

That's intersting. Where are the Archives?

I'd like to to see a classic section. Like "the best, worst and funniest" post of IRV

The use of the FIND feature can be your best friend when you are looking for that little tidbit of information that you need. There is a "BIG" chance that what ever issue is on your mind that someone has already written something about it.
