a/c expansion valve

2003 allegro bay 360db w22workhorse I have an a/c expansion valve going bad. Does anyone know of an easy way to replace it. I have followed the lines to the heater core, and the a/c houseing expansion valves are on the inside of the case. Any part number on the valve and dryer would help. Thanks

Most modern A/C units no longer have expansion valves. The use an orifice to restrict the flow and create the low presure. It can be found in the high pressure side line. There will be a place that looks like it's pinched together in the metal line near a connection.
